Fists Will Fly

This Wednesday Immortal Iron Fist #17 hits comic shops, and it's my debut on the series, along with artist Travel Foreman. You'll find some preview pages right here at Marvel Noise, along with a really kind preview/review from David Price. Jumping on board this one is a dream come true, especially for a kid who used to dress up like Caine from Kung Fu and try to kick the crap out of his younger brother on a regular basis.

And speaking of superhero types: Canada's Globe and Mail ran a nice short piece about Murder At Wayne Manor: An Interactive Batman Mystery, stressing that it's nowhere near as dark as The Dark Knight. Which proves I have a kinder, gentler side. I think.

The Dark Knight Right Now!

A few days ago, certain informed sources reported that Batman: Murder at Wayne Manor, my second interactive mystery, was spotted at chain bookstores. This surprised the staff here at Secret Dead Blog, because the publication date was set for July 15. I sent someone out to confirm, and... yes! It is indeed available, all the hell over the place. At B&N you can find it on the "summer movies" table, near the books about Iron Man and Hulk and all of those guys.

Cue the Bat Signal

Holy last minute, Batman. Totally forgot to mentioned that I'm going to be signing copies of Batman: Murder at Wayne Manor tomorrow at the Philadelphia Book Festival. (It's kind of a surprise to me, too; only found about this last week.) I'll be at the Quirk Books booth at high noon, and hanging for about an hour. Here's the interesting thing: Murder isn't officially out until mid-July, so this is pretty much the only place you'll be able to score a copy until then. I'll probably also load my trademark green backpack (going strong since 1997) with a bunch of Severance Packages, which also isn't officially available yet. If you dig getting books before their time, stop on by the Central Branch of the Free Library. The booth is #8, on 19th Street, smack dab between Wood and Vine. (If you get lost, look for Poe Boy's distinctive beard and professorial garb. He'll be nearby.)
