Above is a photo of a thank-you note from David Goodis sent to Dutch Silver back in the mid-1960s. We passed it around the table and joked about taking some DNA from the back of the stamp and creating a Goodis clone who would be promptly chained to a typewriter and made to write more novels. The sound is kind of on the sucky side, thanks to the icy wind whipping through the cemetery.
